I work in an Optometrist office in California!. Exams for new wearers (including training) runs from $120!.00 to $160!.00 for average prescriptions!. There are lots of lens options and your doctor will chose the best for you based on your prescription and the measurements taken during the exam!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
It all depends on your eye doctor and insurance!. Doctor's have different rates so what one guy charges may not exactly be the same as the next guy's!. And then there is the matter of insurance and if you have it!.!.!.!. For instance, I had Eye insurance in the past and I only had to pay a small portion, but since I don't have it as of right now, I have to pay out of pocket!. The Average, if you had to do it this way, is roughly 160!.
If you ARE going to get contacts, go with Acuvue 2, they are a soft lense and comfortable to wear!.!.!. For a tester, they sometimes start out with a hard lense like Opti!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
