Would I need glasses for this?!
Question: Would I need glasses for this!?
My eyes have been hurting when I read (books and online)!. Sometimes it feels like my eyes are being pulled to the middle, like when you go cross-eyed!. I don't have any real vision problems, nothing is blurry or anything, but it causes annoying pain, headaches, and strain on my eyes!. I haven't had an eye exam in 10+ years, which is probably half my problem!.

Lol to the answers that say don't read as much!. Reading should not be painful, and you should be able to do it comfortably as long as you want!. :)
It may be some eyestrain!. Take breaks every 20 minutes and look in the distance for 20 seconds!. Take a break every hour or so if you are on your computer for an extensive amount of time!. This will give your eyes a break from focusing on your nearwork!. Make sure that you have adequate room lighting but that it doesn't cause any glare!. Keep your eyes lubricated with eyedrops or by blinking often!. Have your computer screen at least arm's length away, further if possible!.
I really suggest you have an eye exam, though!. If you haven't had your eyes checked out in 10 years, your eye health really needs to be examined!.
If your eyes feel like they are being "pulled," you may have a binocular problem, like a convergence problem, meaning that your eye muscles have to work very hard for you to focus on near things!. Or it could be an accommodative esotropia, where one of your eyes actually does turn in when you do nearwork!. It could also be hyperopia (farsightedness), astigmatism, or presbyopia (getting old and needing reading glasses)!.
Basically, you should get an eye exam!. :) And chances are, no matter what the problem is, some glasses will make things a lot more comfortable for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I used to have this problem!.!.!. well in fact i still do!.
I used to get really bah headaches when reading!. It's not like anything is wrong with your eyes but it just causes pain!.
Get a check up as you may need glasses with a mild lense!.
Otherwise take breaks when you read and also check your posture!. If you lean to far into a book with your head down etc!. it may cause headaches!.
So basically just make sure you get enough sleep, take breaks, sit correctly but if this problem persists you should go for a check up!.
hope this helps Www@Answer-Health@Com

seems just like eye strain to me, get more sleep if possible and i reccomend every thirty minutes of watching tv, reading playing videogames or being on the computer you should look away for a good minute or so, to rest your eyes, it should help, and yes get a regular yearly eye exam, that could always help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You probably have what I have - astigmatism!. Your eyes are each in focus, but the eyes when they try to align the two images to are under constant tension!. I needed bifocals in freshman college and didn't have them and couldn't study long enough to stay in school!. Fixed after an accident broke glasses and different doctor determined need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, the first thing you should do is take a rest from reading for about a week!. Don't get on the computer, and read as little as possible!. You're probably just reading way too much!. If your eyes still hurt, go get an eye exam!. They (should) tell you the problem!. Anyways, goood luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
