That would be hyperopic, if that is just a + 2!.00 sphere for distance!.
A + 2!.00 for reading only would mean presbyopia!.
A - 2!.00 for distance would be myopia
The + 2!.00 , a convex lens ,shortens the focal length of light entering the eye so that it focuses on the retina instead of behind it!.!.( in theory )
