I need help!!!! Contact lenses question.?!

Question: I need help!!!! Contact lenses question!.!?
I just got these blue contact lenses and they are giving me a hard time to put them on!. Every time it get close to the colored part of my eye, my super long (and hard!) lashes start batting like crazy and then the contact gets all twisted and messed up!. When it actually touches my eyeball the contact solution ( liquid from the container the contact comes from) starts stinging my eye causing me to blink thus, messing up the application!. Are contacts just not for me!? any tips or advice!? Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is how I apply mine, I also have very long eye lashes that get in the way and the way they showed me how to do it just didn't work for me!.

So, I am going to put in my left contact---I put the contact ont he very tip on my RIGHT pinky finger, I then take my LEFT pointer finger and left up my upper lashes, then I take my LEFT thumb and hold down my lower lashes, then I just place the contact on my eye with slight pressure, remove my finger and roll my eye around to get it to fit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does take alot of practice to put them in, and take them out, and to adjust the feel to them!. Try and use a non-alcohol contact lenses solution, and then insert into your eye, slowly, start from the conjunctiva, and move it up to your iris, and then blink, slowly, and close your eyes for 10 seconds, open, close, and so on!. If your still having a hard time, you need to ask your Opticians to show you again on how to put them in, contact lenses are for you, for anyone, it just takes alot of practice and it isn't easy like glasses!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Wash and dry your hands thoroughly first!. When putting the contact in, I usually look up, put in the contact, then blink and the contact goes into place!.

Don't put the contact directly on the colored part of your eyes!. Put it on the whites of your eyes!. When I first got them, I found out doing this works much better for me!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what i do is before i put them in, i shake the contact, still holding it, so the solution falls out so im not killing my eyes!.
one way, what i do since i can't straight put it on the colored part of my eye is, look at a mirror, tilt your head down and look up and maybe a bit to the side!. it sounds complicated but hopefully you get it!. now u can put the contact half on the cornea and iris and half on the white part!. it's do-able!. for me it is easier and less, omg-im-gonna-poke-my-self-ness!. firmly hold your top eye lashes up and dont blink until you move your contact by moving your eye!. slowly release lashes and blink blink blink!. then it's inWww@Answer-Health@Com

try getting used to holding your eyelashes back with one hand while putting in your contact with the other!.
and it really shouldn't be burning, maybe you had something on your fingers and it's on the contact itself!.
try cleaning it some more with the solution,
once it's pretty clean you shouldn't be having any more problems!. :]Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take your left hand if you're right handed and pull your upper eyelid!. Take your middle finger and pull down your lower eyelid!. The contact lense should be on your index finger!. Now put the contact on your eye and pull your index finger away!. Release your middle finger!. Now release your left hand!. The contact should be in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you First Get Contacts its Hard to Get them In, go to your Eye Doctor and Ask how to proprley Take Care and Apply your Contacts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

just keep practicing it takes a while!. try holding your bottom eyelid down with your middle finger on your right hand and the top with the middle finger of your left hand, or vice versaWww@Answer-Health@Com
