Question: New glasses taking a really long time!?
I bought a new pair of glasses yesterday and the shop told me it would be over a week before they were ready!? the last time i bought glasses it only took three hours, could it be the type of frames!?

It's not the frames, it's where you got them!. Places like LensCrafters have a lab onsite and make your glasses there!. Most other eye doctors have their glasses made somewhere else!. It's completely normal to wait a week or 2 for glasses, you just didn't have to last time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I've been wearing glasses for nearly 30 years and have always had to wait at least a week (I'm in the UK)!. A few weeks ago I had to wait a fortnight for a new pair of varifocals!. However I also asked them to put new single vision lenses into my old frames (because I still like the look of them) and this only took three days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
