Answers:
I will be very upfront!. NO contact is made for sleeping in!.!.!.!.period!! There are no blood vessels on the surface of the eye and the only way to get oxygen supplied to the cornea is through the air!. When you are wearing a contact lens, it reduces and smothers the oxygen from getting to your eye!. This causes a lot of problems with the cornea!.!.ranging from a mild irritation to permanent vision loss!. Drs!. that tend to say it is ok to sleep in contacts are the ones who never have to treat the worst case scenario!. So here is the bottom line!. Wearing contacts to sleep at night puts you at a dangerously high risk of anything from a minor infection to a severe vision problem or corneal damage!. And for those who say they have done it for years and never had a problem!. Count your blessings!.!.!.for now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your not suppose to sleep with them if they aren't made for it!. Like the daily ones!. But it doesn't hurt, maybe make them watery!. But some people's eyes are sensitive and can't sleep with them regardless of whether the contacts can be slept in!. The person above me who said that the contacts roll to the back of your eyes and you have to go to the hospital is dead wrong!. It's impossible for that to happen, she's just trying to scare you!. If you sleep in them and you wake up they'll probably be a little dry so just put some eye drops in to moisturize them and you'll be fine!.

Hope that helped :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on what sort of contacts you wear!. If you wear extended schedule contacts then you should be able to wear them for at least one night without any problem but I can't say for sure!. If however you wear daily then its probably a bad idea to sleep with them on!. Also with any contacts you risk them coming out in your sleep and losing one or both of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

unless they are made for that which would be obcious, DONT! I fell asleep for like, 30 minutes with them once!. They get stuck to your eyes and you cant get them out!. If you do try, it looks like you are pulling at your actual eye!. Also, they roll to the back of your eyes and you have to go tote hospital!. PLZ PLZ PLZ dont do that!. Also, dont shower with them in!. My eye doctor also told me that it is dangerous because it can cause moldonyour eye which can even be deadly!. if Please be careful you insist on useing contacts!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

in my opinion, it doesn't matter if the contacts are allowed for sleep or not!. your eye still needs to breathe naturally and rest and rejuvinate!. wearing contacts really deprives the eye when u sleep and on top of that your eye is closed so still lack of oxygen!. and they end up really dry and probably feel like you have frosted flakes in your eye when you wake up!. so i would try my best not to sleep with them on!.
hell, i can't even close my eyes for 10 minutes without them feeling dry at school!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Years ago I fell asleep in lenses and thought I'd never be able to open my eyes again!. Things have changed alot since then though and many of the lenses that aren't even approved for overnight use can occasionally be slept in without trouble!. I've slept in Acu Vue Advance a bazillion times with no problems!. I'm using AcuVue Oasys now and it's approved for overnight but I don't feel any difference!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Certain brands are okay to sleep in, but if you have any additional problems with your eyes, it's not recommended!. Ask your Optometrist for the best answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

some contacts are
some are gas permeable and dont matter
your eyes need oxygen
so it is better to take them outWww@Answer-Health@Com

I use acuvues and sleep in mine for a week at a time!. I have done this for almost 13 years and never had any problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ive never done it but i heard that it hurts like hellWww@Answer-Health@Com
