What is the difference between brands such as equate and food lion brand contact solutions versus opti and renu brand contact solution!.

Nothing, except what you pay for them!. Many of products are packaged by the name brand company for the off brands!. look at the active ingredients on the label I'll just about bet that most will be the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
The differences are the disinfectants they use!. The cheaper ones do tend to lack in the moisture!.!.!.I myself also prefer Opti!.!.!.
Hint: when ever you buy contacts ask for a complementary trial box that comes with solution and lens case!. They are free because the solution companies give them out!.!.!.you never need to buy solution again! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Look at the ingredients on the boxes!. Each is going to be different!. That is why some people are allergic to one and not another!. Also, for lenses like silicone, not all brands are approved!. Hard or gas permeable lenses are a horse of a different color!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I use renu it's the best all the others have burned my eyes whether its from aging or just the way it's made i don't know!. In the beginning all worked for me it would be about a month in to using other brand's that i had a problem!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
The difference is the cost!. Equate works very well and is inexpensive!. I usually use it!. I don't like TOP CARE which is sold by Bilo!. It is an off brand and doesn't feel like it has any moisturizer in it!.

I'm fine with the cheapo ones!. I can't tell the difference and have been using them most of the time for years!. I do get the samples of each new brand that comes around when I buy new lenses and still see no difference!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
You know!.!.!.I'm really not sure!. But if you're looking for the best brand I hear from others that Opti is best (and use it myself)!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
