i was just wondering why your eyes feel like they're "prickling" (is the best word i can use to describe it) when you're really tired!?

It's because your brain is trying to tell you that you need sleep!. Your nerves around the eye "prickle" because you get the sensation that you WANT to sleep even though you're trying to keep yourself awake!.
If you keep trying to stay awake, then the "prickling" gets worse!. So go to sleep early and don't abuse yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
