I have school from 7-430(tennis practice)!.!.
is that to long to wear my contacts!?

well in the begining you can only keep them in for a few hours!.
but i wake up at 6:30 then have school then a softball game at 6 and i don't get home until like 9 at night!. so its fine!. they do get annoying some late nights but nothing that you should be worried about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the optometrist will tell you that you should not keep them in for long periods of time and they are right in a sense, and you should take them out every night and put them in every morning!. unless you have accuve advance with hydroclear they let your eyes "breathe" and you can wear them for a long time, right now i have a pair in that i have been wearing for 10 months straight, and i haven't had one problem with them, but i wouldn't advise doing that because some peoples eyes react differentlyWww@Answer-Health@Com
my contacts are so comfortable that i developed a habit of keeping them on for days at a time!. i even slept in them without discomfort!.
after a recent trip to the ophthalmologist, however, she discouraged me from wearing them for so long!.
consequences of my contact lens overuse:
(1) i'm developing new veins in the whites of my eyes!. despite having "breathable" lenses, my eyes still need more oxygen, and are creating new blood vessels closer to the surface to get it!. the veins aren't huge or scary, or sight-threatening, but they do give the whites of you eyes an unattractive reddish cast in the long run!.
(2) the lining on the insides of my upper eyelids is changing, due to constant friction against contact lenses!. this happens especially when my lenses are a bit dry!. as a result of this friction, a sort of microscopic callous is developing under my eyelid!. again, it's not harmful or painful, but it's unwelcome nonetheless!.

i had a pair of eyeglasses made to wear around the house on evenings and weekends!. my contacts are infinitely more comfortable, but for the sake of my eye health, i give them a break now and again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My husband wears those new kind Acuvue Oasys!. You can wear those for like 2 months without taking them out!. They somehow can breathe through them so they are safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
i put mine in before work at about 7:30am and take them out at about 8pm before winding down for the night!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
