Question: How Do you read this contact lenses prescription!?

Im new into this contact lenses
my doctor just gave me my prescription
OD -300 is that mean -3!.00!?
-125 is that mean -1!.25!?
x180 that would be the axis right!?
OS -300 is that mean -3!.00!?
-225 is that mean -2!.25!?
x180 also
and the last thing is 8!.8 is that the base curve!?

You've got it!. the -3!.00 is the amount of nearsightedness you have!.!.!.the -1!.25 on the OD (right eye) and the -2!.25 on the OS (left of course) is the amount of astigmatism you have and then you have the axis correct!. Yep!.!.!.you are right!. The Dr!. just didn't put the decimal points in, because we know they have to be there anyway!.
