How do people that need glasses cope in the shower?!
Question: How do people that need glasses cope in the shower!?
i know this probably sounds so stupid but if someone needs glasses or they can't see anything how do they shower!? i mean it must be so dangerous not to wear them, and they'll break if they go in the shower all the time wont they!?

Even though there is the inability to see clearly, I am still able to distinguish between the colours and shapes around me!.
And if you know your home well enough, you could probably manouver around blindfolded knowing exactly where every little thing was!.

It's not like you can't see anything without glasses!. Things are blurry, but you aren't blind once you take them off!. Most people can see things if they hold them close to their face!. When I take my glasses off to shower I know where everything is so I can just grab it!. If it has been moved, I can see it blurry enough to know what it is and get it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well i used to have this problem, but now i wear contacts when i shower!. But all i do is take off my glasses!. Its really not all that dangerous most of the time you can distinguish enough to see what your doing!. And no the glasses won't break in the shower, they'll just get wet and foggy!. Glasses aren't like a handicap or anything, just a slight set back!. Hope this answers your question!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think basically they must put their glasses on a ledge
or something near by, the rest is touch and feel , you

I have really poor vision, and have worn glasses since 1976 when I was a teenager!. Showers are a very confined space, and the need to see clearly is a non issue- so it's not a problem!. Anyone can slip and fall in the bathroom so it obviously pays to be careful, but really it's never been a problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Even if she can see very without her glasses, a shower is a really small space!. She would be able to remember where she put her shampoo, conditioner, soap, and so on and so forth!. But most people who need glasses can see well enough to make their way around a shower!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I think you have been given the answer many times!. but it is a good thought!. try to keep in mind that glasses are to see close up or far away!. or focus better!. they don't mean you are blind!. and again blind people take showers as well!. with no problems!.!. ;o)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Most people can see well enough without glasses to do fine in the shower!. If they needed to read the fine print on the shampoo bottle, maybe not!. But we can certainly still tell the difference between our soap and our razor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most people can see the big picture without their glasses!. They take them off to shower and can see good enough!. Thats what i do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
