A Question for those who have had this surgical procedure, PLEASE???e?!

Question: A Question for those who have had this surgical procedure, PLEASE!?!?!?e!?
I am scheduled to have a cataract removed from my right eye next week!. It is in its' early stages but it interferes with the clarity of vision I need toward my work!.
I must admit I am a little afraid, because I so much depend on my vision as a visual artist!.!.!.
What I would like to know is this :
1) Does it hurt, for I am being given a local!.

2) Am I to be made to watch the procedure in a mirror above me!?

3) How long will the procedure, once it is completed, interfere with my getting back to my daily work!?

4) Are there cases where the procedure causes adverse effects!.!.!.I need my eyes! Both of them preferably!?

5) Must I wear an eye-patch afterwards, and for how long!?

6) What is the guarantee, percentage wise, that the vision in that right eye, (I had previously had looked through a chink in a burning kiln, a hundred times too many, without protection), will be back to normal!?

If anyone has gone through cataract removal surgery, would you please be so kind as to help me prepare, by answering these questions!.

I thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi Grecia!. Yes, I had the surgery about 4 weeks ago!. The recovery time is about 3 weeks!. The only problem that I had was the numbing shots weren't completely effective so they put me to sleep!. I wore a eye shield at night for the first couple of weeks!. Try not to worry, you will do just fine!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know several people who have had this done!. The surgery has come a long way in the last 25 years!. The first time I saw this, was my father-in-law about 25 years ago!. He couldn't bend over for 2 weeks, and ended up with "coke bottle" glasses!. But, he could see!. Today, it's a simple procedure, with virtually no side effects!. Anyone who's had it done considers it a near miracle!. You'll be fine!. And glad you had it done!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what exactly is a cataract!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As I have no idea at all this will be my simple answer for you!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good news!

My Gramma had this surgery when she was 83!. She quit smoking afterwards, saying that she didn't want to "smoke up the lenses"!. When the surgery was done!.!.!.Gramma threw out her glasses, and she never wore them again up to and including her death at the age of 100!.

The only negative thing she had to say about it was that the doctor put his hands too close to her eyes!. She didn't much care for that!.

Do it!!!! God speed!
