There are different types of contact lenses, though the most popular ones are two to four week disposable lenses- meaning you wear the same pair for two to four weeks, then throw them away and get a new pair!. There are some lenses that are designed for longer term use- like a year or more!. When you order contacts, you generally order a year's supply (though this may be different, depending on your practitioner)!.

Many practitioners will give you a starting kit- with solution and a lens case!. You can purchase lens cases at a drugstore or somewhere like Target!. It is recommended that you change your lens case every month, to prevent infections!. Lens cases are pretty inexpensive!. Also, you should never reuse your contact solution!.

Some insurance companies give you a yearly allowance for glasses or contacts, and you can often apply this to your cost!.

It is a good idea to have a pair of glasses as a back up in case you can't wear your contacts every day, and for the times before you put your lenses in!. Also, it is best not to sleep in your contact lenses, as this may lead to infections!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

lol!. you change your contacts depending on what type you get!. some you change everyday, every two weeks, or every month

if you change every month, see, u get 2 boxes, one for your left eye and one for your right eye!. mine came with 6 each which would be good for 6 months!. it depends, maybe you can stock up and have enough for the year but it all depends but you usually buy a box for both eyes with a set number in them!. ugh, its hard to explain but i hope you get itWww@Answer-Health@Com
