Could I have accidently put my contact lens in the wrong way?!

Question: Could I have accidently put my contact lens in the wrong way!?
I've been wearing contacts now for about a month, and I've done great with them, but this morning I put my contact lens for my left eye in, and I cleaned it REALLY GOOD and my eye start watering and itching and it just really hurt! That has never happened before!. It worried me because my pupil became very large and!.!.!. just really really weird looking, while my right eye (with the contact lens in) remained the same!. My pupil is back to normal now, but I didn't wear contacts today!. =( I wore glasses - which I HATE doing - but will it be okay to wear these contacts again or should I buy some more new ones!? I will not wear glasses one more day so what do you think would be best and will what just happen affect my eye!?!?!?!?
Thx :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is highly unlikely that you put your contact in the wrong way !. If you had done so , it would not have stayed in properly and you would have noticed it right off !. Probably something go under it like an eyelash or some piece of lint or dirt !. It should not affect your eye permanently , but if you keep having the problem , then see your optometrist as soon as possible !. Hope this helps you and as always good luck and God bless !.
How did you do on the mathe exam !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't buy new ones!. If you just put them in backwards they are still okay!. Next time, just be sure to check the shape of the contacts before you put them in (look at the edges, if the flare out a bit it's backwards, and also contacts have the 123, but I can never find them)!. Also, if it happens again, call you doctor and throw away the contacts!. If your eye hurts or turns red for an extended period of time, definitely call your doctor to get an eye appointment!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you put the contact in did it feel like something was stabbing you in the eye beside being itchy and watery!? If so you definitely put it in inside out!. The next time that happens take the contact out of your eye and flip it!. then rinse it with saline and it should feel better!.

I don't know if it does any damage to your eye but that happens to me all the time and I have been wearing contacts for 13 years and my eyes are fine Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'd buy some new ones!. For some reason, the contacts in my left eye always bug me more than my right eye too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok heres a trick for you, place your contact in the crease on the side of your hand the deepest crease if your looking at your palm, then slowy close your hand if the outer edges flip back onto your hand before you close it fully they are inside out!!.
another tip is place it on the tip of your finger,if it looks like a bowl with a lip then it is inside out,if it's straight up and looks like a bowl with a sharp edge it's the way round!.
when they are put in inside out they can be uncomfortable but you may have used too much solution on them and this may have stung your eye a little bit,so my advice is go back to your optician and get it checked, explain what happened and let them give you a quick check
for any damage caused!.
