Answers:
If you wear glasses, your eyes should be examined every 2 years by a optometrist or a opthomologist!. You will be charged for the examination!. If your eye prescription has changed, they will write you a new prescription for lenses!. You will also have the cost of lenses for each eye and the cost of a frame!. It could cost up to $200!.00!. However, call around just for a cost of a eye examination and make a list of who you called and the phone number(s)!. Example, D!.O!.C!. quoted $45 for eye examination; Pearl Vision quoted $20 for eye examination; Walmart quoted $30 and so on!. Get the lowest quote and get the eye examination and walk out with the prescription!. You don't have to get the glasses there!. Then shop around for a bargain for the lenses and frames!. It does not have to be designer frames, please!
Not having health insurance will not cause you to pay more if you shop wisely and make the right telephone calls!. Also, any eyeglass place will fix your glasses if it is part of the frame and is fixable for a small fee!. I would go back to walmart and ask them to fix it and ask about the cost!. If it is a lens that is broken!.!.!.ask them how much to replace the lens!. You can get the lens replaced with the prescription you currently have!.!.!.!.don't let them bully you into getting a new eye examination if you can't afford it right now!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Obviously health care is cheaper with insurance, but it is possible to pay without insurance!. It will just cost you!. I would go to walmart or costco and get glasses!. You need to have one eye appt!. every year, because your prescription changes!. your eyes change!. The way you could see things through your glasses 2 years ago is most likely different than today!. Even if it doesn't feel different!. You could get frames from someone and see if you could get walmart or an eye doctor to fit lenses to those frames then you wouldn't have to buy the frames!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok it's best to get your eyes checked every two years even if you don't need to update your rx,this helps rule out any eye diseases and looks after the general health of your eyes!.
have you looked into getting the glasses themselves repaired but
1!.soldering if they are metal and not made of non solderable material i!.e titanium
2!.getting your old lenses cut to a new frame called a C!.E!.F (cut edge and fit)
these are the other solutions to a need if you are strapped for cash and it will tide you over till you get insurance sorted or enough funds sorted out
hope this helps

You will probably need a new check up!. I can't buy contacts without a checkup every year!. It sucks!. And depending on your previous insurance coverage, you will probably pay more for your new glasses!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

you MAY need a new check up!. some prescriptions expire!. not sure about walmart!. you definitely don't need health insurance to get glasses!. just go to any optical store!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
