How does my eye test relate to the snellen test?!


Question: How does my eye test relate to the snellen test!?
i just had my eyes tested at the optitians and got the results
Sphere R= -3!.25, L= -4!.50
Cyl R= -1!.50, L= -0!.75
Axis R= 70 L= 95

How does this relate to the snellen test because i need it to be better that 3/60 unaided in both eyes for my driving licence!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You cannot determine unaided acuity from your prescription, it has to be measured!. You will have to ask your doctor to measure it!.

It is unlikely that he would have measured your unaided acuity unless you asked him specifically to do so!. When you apply for the license, they will measure it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are misunderstanding the requirements!.

They have that as a minimum visual acuity required before you have to have glasses!.

Being as you do wear glasses, it is your vision with glasses ON that will count!.

You wouldn't be expected to pass the test without your glasses on, so the unaided requirement doesn't apply to you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
