Where can I send my glasses to be fixed?!
Question: Where can I send my glasses to be fixed!?
I called my optometrist and went to LensCrafter, but neither could help me!. There has got to be a place that fixes glasses!!!
They are broken near the screw, but its not the screw that came out or anything!. The little stick broke off :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

That would be the spring hinge mechanism that has broken!.
Sorry, there is no way to fix that, you need a new temple ( arm)!.!.!.and it isn't easy to find a replacement that will fit if original parts aren't available anymore!.
You need to find a place who would have a stock of parts, and would be willing to spend an hour maybe, going through them to find something similar that would fit the same hinge!.
Try going to an independant optical store, not a chain store!.

If it is part of the frame, most opticians staff are simply going to shrug their shoulders at you!. If this is a metal frame of some type - go to a jewelers and ask them to repair it!. They have always done a fantastic job of minute braising!. If it is plastic, then you are going to have to use some form of contact adhesive!.

Find an optician that has an account with HILCO eyewear repair!. I worked with them for years and they always did the best job, fast, and cheap!
