It depends on their method of teaching you how to insert the lenses, but usually they'll show you how to open the little individual lens packages, slip the lens onto a clean finger and tap it onto your cornea while holding open your eyelids!.
The first couple times may be difficult, but nothing to panic over!. If you drop the lens, the assistant will give you a clean one or teach you how to rinse it off with lens solution!.
It's like learning any new skill; it takes a couple times before you get it right, so there's no need to worry or panic if you don't get it right the first time or even the fourth time!. You will!.
The lenses feel a little odd at first, maybe even a little dry!. The assistant will teach you how to use eyedrops, how to take out the lenses and clean them every night, and what to do when you get something in your eye like a lash or speck of dirt!.

Your eye doctor will show you how to put them in and take them out!. How to take care of them and then you have to show him/her that you can do it But it also depends on the doctor!. some dont care!. As for me I had the exam and they showed me how to do everything with a trial pair and I ordered 3 pairs of special effects lenses from vampfangs!.com cause I dont need prescription ( if you need prescription lenses they have them too )Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well, I have a friend who tells me all about her contacts!. She says that the doctor puts them in for you!. Then he usually says take them out and put them back in!. If you are unable to do so, he will give you extra help and tips on how to do it better!. Also, they are going to do some eyedropping or that funny little machine that blows air into your eyes!. Yes, they show you the first time then have you try it!. Some people get it pretty quickly but I took a good hour or 2 to get it right!. And don't worry about not being able to do it, it's really not as hard as it looks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
