An optic migraine is not a headache or inflammation type problem!. It is actually more of a phenomenon!. Some doctors actually refer to them as optical phenomenon rather than migraines!. We are not sure what brings them on, and patients have different descriptions of the visual!. We are certain however that there is no harm to the eye, and that it comes on suddenly and gradually intensifies and takes about 10-30mins!. The vision usually returns in section either top to bottom left to right or vise versa!. If you have been checked and dilated, then you are fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
