Patients should be examined, fitted, and trained by an eyecare professional (Optometrist, Ophthalmologist) because contact lens and their solutions can cause eye infections and/or allergic reactions even if they don't have any corrective power!. It is against the law in CA to sell contacts without a prescription and by non-licensed retail shops!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
In Ohio, it is also illegal to sell contacts without a written prescription!. Improperly fitting contact lenses can cause MANY problems, the least of which is corneal swelling!. Stores that illegally sell these lenses , in Ohio, are issued a Cease and Desist order and fined heavily!.
