Question: What's wrong to my Eyes!?
I am a system Administrator, and I spent more times in computer!. Last week I went to the doctor he told me to use specs!. and this is the details

L -0!.75 DS 6/6

Answers:
R and L stand for Right eye and Left eye respectively!.
The number that comes after R and L indicates how near-sighted or far-sighted you are!.
A negative sign "-" before the number indicates you are myopic, or near-sighted!.
Having a prescription of -0!.75 diopters is considered mild, i!.e!. you have mild myopia in both eyes!.
Although you may not be able to read say, text on a whiteboard from the back of the classroom, it's mild enough to allow you to go about your daily life without any form of corrective eyewear such as contact lenses and glasses!.
As for DS 6/6, it means that you don't have astigmatism (good for you!)!. Therefore, you can ignore it!.
Since your job requires you to spend long hours working on the computer, I suggest you get a pair made because wearing corrective eyewear will reduce the strain on your eyes and prevent your myopia from worsening!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you are very lucky!. first of all dont worry about the DS- its the right and left (R and L) you should be worried about!. the higher the number the worse your eyesight!. i have -8!.50 and -7!.00 and even with polycarbonate frames my frames are still kinda thick!. if you get glasses your lense thickness would be very very thin!. theres nothing "wrong" with your eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should wear glasses!. With correction you will have "perfect" vision!.
At this time you are not seeing as well as you could be!. Get an anti-reflective coating on your lenses to help with computer screen glare!. You'r vision is OK but could be corrected to better!.

You are mildly nearsighted!. If I were you!. I would only wear them when really good distance vision is needed!. You can likely drive legally with that low of a prescription!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
