Not sure about contact lens brands will suit you, only the optometrist will be able to help you with that one, as they know the shape of your eye and your exact prescription!.
I do however know that they don't really do yearly contact lenses anymore, as lens types have changed, and we know more about cleaning and looking after lenses now!.
As far as costs go once you add up the costs monthly disposable lenses work out fractionally cheaper than yearly lenses, as you dont have to buy more than one type of cleaner!.
My best advice would be to go back to your optometrist, let them know you are on a budget, and they should be able to find you a suitable cost appropriate contact lens!.
