This surgery is not dangerous at all actualy, All material are made in the US and f!.d!.a approved there are the same implants that are used in cataract surgery ( avery common eye procedure done every day)
Cataract surgery breaks your lense where as newcolor iris doesnt but both eye procedures are safe!. atleast your friend is not getting lipo or nose jobs, which to me is more risky!.With everything there are risk!. but its not that bad goodluck! Let us know what color she chose and how it went!.
jessica is right this procedure helps the eyes of albinosWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's not FDA approved in the United States and it seems to me that Albinos are first choice candidates for the coloriris procedure because of ocular albinism and it can benefit them!.

I don't know what to say, I'm not sure if it is safe, but the site says it's safe that I read!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Surgery to change her eye color!? I never heard of that!. Is this in the United States!? Does your friend know that she can get contact lenses to change her eye color!? Any surgery has risks, and I can't imagine a doctor performing eye surgery (on the eye itself, not the lids) for purely cosmetic reasons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Her doctor and surgeon will let her know if it's safe!. You're a good friend!. I guess she doesn't like colored contacts!? A good rule of thumb is "Never be put under, unless it's a necessity!" You can't change what she's doing!. It seems a very shallow thing to do, like anyone really notices!. Glad you tried! Www@Answer-Health@Com

I didn't think this was possible! Are you sure this is what she's doing

Out of curiosity, I've just done a search for this type of surgery, and was very surprised to find out that this type of surgery IS possible now!.

This information may help both of you:

i'm gonna assume, like lasik, this will be done one eye at a time, giving the first time to heal!.
has her main doctor talked to her about it!? s/he can give info about how safe it is!.
i doubt it can be done more than once!.
personally, i think it is a stupid risk for vanity's sake!.

is she going down to panama for this!?!? i don't think this is approved in th USA yet - and that's a place with tv commercials selling drugs that have "death" a possible "side-affect"!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I actually have heard of that, and saw this website http://www!.newcoloriris!.com/

I would be afraid to risk my vision!. I wore blue contacts for about 3 years and just decided to stop wearing them!. Its funny how many people tell me they like my natural eye color better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Looks like it's in the beginning stages of becoming a reality!. Don't worry, your friend won't be able to get this surgery for probably a couple decades yet!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can see more info about it here!.

It is done in California!.!.!.the capital of anything artificial!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Optical surgeons can actually do that now!? I don't believe it for a second!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

not really!. she should just get a (non grade) contact lens, way cheaper and safer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
