Im about to get contact lens and im really scared?!
Question: Im about to get contact lens and im really scared!?
in a couple of days im going to get contacts but im scared of sum stuff that ive heard!. Is it hard to remove and put them in!. ive heard stories that ppl have got there contacts to the side of their eye!. Im scared i might scratch my eye or somthing!. And i also want to no if there is no contact in ur eye and u dont no it and u try to remove it, what will happen or can u tell when ur contact is gone!? Help im really nervous about getting them ive heard alot of bad things and good things about them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just got contacts and I'm really happy with them!.
The first time you try, it might take a while to out them in / take them out!.
But, it's really really easy after you get the hang of it!.
When the doctor first put contacts in my eyes, I kept grabbing his arm, and flinching, and turning away!. I was really nervous as well!.
But now it's really easy to do it!.
Just make sure you clean them, and it should be fine!.
And, if you get them in the sides of your eyes, just look around until they go back into place,
they're made to fit in the coloured part of your eye!.
With my contacts, I can tell if they're in or not, because they're just the slightest bit bluer than the white part of my eye!.
But, if you tried to take it out, and it wasn't there, you'd probably feel yourself touching your eye, because there's no contact in your eye!.
You shouldn't have a problem with scratching your eye, because you don't touch your eye in the insertion/removal process of your contacts!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, first of all, theres really nothing to worry about, contacts aren't scary at all!. It might take you a little bit of getting used to, putting them in and taking them out, but its really not hard once you get used to it!.
If theres no contact in your eye, you'll know, cuz you can simply look out of your eye and notice your vision isnt as good, at least thats what I do!. If you really cant tell, just look at your eye in a mirror, and youll see the outline of the contact around your eye!. I've never had any bad experiences with mine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

and as long as you dont sleep in them[which you are not suppose to do], your contacts willl not get on the side of your eye!.
and yes, you can tell if your contacts are gone, cuz your vision will be blurry:D

Well honestly contacts are really really great! I was afraid too when i got them cause my doctor was like you have to be real responsible n stuff n im like im sorta but not really!. But contacts in my opinion is like the greatest decision then keep wearin glasses!. Dont worry before you get contacts they let you try it out fo like a week or two to see whether its best for you!. trust me at first its hard but aftr awhile you get use to it and it gets easier!. So dont worry too much without risks you cant experience new things! lol but seriously get it not much negatives really! Good luck!:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
they are wonderful i wore them for 3 years before i went back to glasses!. At first they bother your eye like a small peice of hair in your eye only for about 10-15 seconds after that your all good!.!.ps!.putting them in is the tricky part !.i slept in mines and yes it did get stuck in the side of my eye!. just close your eyes and roll your eyes around till its back in place there is nothing wrong with contacts everyone deals with them differently

Taking them out is a bit harder!. You almost have to squeezee the sides of your eye, but it doesn't hurt if you do it right!.
Also, don't rub your eye when it's in or it will fall out!.
Always wash your hands BEFORE you touch your eyes!.
You won't scratch your eye!. I promise!.
You know when your contact is in and out, so you don't have to worry about that!.
