Question: Could this happen to a blind person!?

I am currently writing a play that involves a blind girl making lemonade!. In one of the scenes she accidentally squirts lemon into her eye which causes a sting that irritates it, like getting an acidic substance in the eye irritates most people!. Is this even possible!? Can blind people still feel things in their eyes!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
