It's not glaucoma!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Glaucoma is not only diagnosed by eye pressure!. It is also determined by damage to the optic nerve, and loss of vision, which is in the periphery and very rarely to an extent where the patient can notice!. There are people who have really high pressures and never get glaucoma!.

However, if you have a cataract (hardening of the eyes natural lens) that can cause your pressures to be higher than if you were to have it extracted and replaced!. Another cause can be sinusitis!. If your sinus cavity is inflammed it will push on the orbit causing pressure!. And yet another cause can be temporal arteritis, which has to do with the artery in your temple, this is also followed with many systemic symptoms!. How have your eating, sleeping and energy levels been lately!. Please go see an ophthalmologist and if they are a good one, the Dr should do one of these things a) sending to get lab work done, b) referred to an ENT (ear, nose and throat) or c) following up with ophthalmologist!.

I hope all is well for you!.

Diabetes Mellitus can effect your eyes in a very serious way!. What it does is the extra sugar in your body causes the lens in an eye to swell, therefore raising pressure and causing vision deterioration!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
