Subconjunctival hemorrhage?!

Question: Subconjunctival hemorrhage!?
I have a subconjunctival hemorrhage on my left eye, and I wear contact lenses!. This morning when I went to put in my contacts I saw the SH, so decided to just wear my glasses instead!. But can I wear contacts with a SH!? Should I wait a few days, or until it clears up completely!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yes you can wear your contacts!. The eye sometimes gets a little drier from a subconjunctival hemorrhage so you may need rewetting drops throughout the day!. If there is any major discomfort, I would discontinue the lenses until it improves!. But that can take a couple of weeks!.

I think you are fine to do either way!.

How can an an "Ophthalmic Tech" tell whether it a subconjunctival hemorrhage just by what somebody says on the internet!?
A doctor would prefer to examine it and determine whether that's then only thing involved!.

Do you think Ophthalmic Techs smarter than Optometrists!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

A sub!. conj!. hem is just a bruise!. If you are certain that is what you have then yes you can wear you contacts!. There is no treatment for this!. It will go away by itself!. And please if you ever have an issue with the health of your eye see an ophthalmologist, they are MDs!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

For goodness sake!. Sounds like the glasses might be good for a couple of days!. The optomitrist might have some suggestions on how to relieve the "SH"!. Sure hope you take my advise!. Similar situation happened to my son's friend!. His friend can no longer use contacts do to the wait and see while using the contacts!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
