Question: Contacts irritiating my eyes!?
I am freshman in college and am still in the process of adjusting to college life!. I have worn contacts for 5 years now and never had a lot of problems with them except for occasional eye infections!. The past week or so they have been irritating my eyes especially late at night!. I have them in from around 7 or 8 in the morning until 1 or 2 at night!. It isn't too bad but it does get annoying!. I wear frequency 55 contacts and my prescription is -2!.00 in both eyes!. I don't have glasses so I can't wear those!. Is there anything I can do to help with this!? Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are obviously over wearing your lenses and your eyes are starting to tell you to stop!. All the extra reading and probably computer work also at school are taking a toll!.
Rewetting drops could help, but even that won't work for long!.
You really have to get some glasses so you can give your eyes a break more often!.
18 hours a day, every day is way too long to be wearing contacts without having some problems develop!.
You are getting warning signs now, don't ignore them or you will find yourself not being able to wear contacts for several weeks once a problem really shows up!.!.!.!.which could be in a month, or next week!.!.!.or tomorrow!.
That is what is called really abusing your contacts and your eyes!. Not many people can get away with that for very long!. Get some glasses!.
