Glenn is correct in warning that there are many things that can go wrong!. The biggest thing that I see (even in patients who are excellent candidates for Lasik surgery) is the need to wear reading glasses five to ten years earlier than expected!. This means if you're getting Lasik when you're older than thirty or so, it makes much more sense to get contacts if they're a viable option for you!. Otherwise you'll still have to wear reading glasses in a few years instead of ten or fifteen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the two guys are correct although the thing is everyone is different and may or may not need reading glasses earlier!.I have a cousin who got lasik 15 years ago at 40 and still can see great without reading glasses!.I had the lasik done as well and have had no side effects at all, but as I said everyone is different and know one can tell you exactly what will happen to you down the road!.I will say that I feel that its worth it just to be free from glasses is so liberating!.just way all the pros and cons and make your own decision!.if you do decide to have it done I hope that it Works out for you!.lasik has gotten way more accurate over the years and side effects are minimal!.Good luck to you!.
Oh and also go with a well known doctor and stay away from those that will do the procedure for 400 dollars an eye they usually aren't very knowledgeable and do more harm then good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
