Ishihara Colour Blind Test?!

Question: Ishihara Colour Blind Test!?
I want to join the Australian Defence Force as a fighter pilot, but when my Dad got an e-mail with the Ishihara Colour Blind Test, I had difficulty reading it, actually I couldn't read most of it!.

Will this hamper my chances of becoming a fighter pilot!? I've always wanted to be one since I was little!.

Answers:
Significant failure on an Ishihara test will rule you out from being a fighter pilot, and a few other colour-sensitive careers!.

But an on-line test is not a good guide as the colour-rendering of computer screens is uncertain!. You should get an regular eye exam, to include an Ishihara test under correct lighting, to find out your true status!.

About one male in ten has a slight but detectable colour vision anomaly!.
About one in fifty are essentially judging traffic lights by their position on the pole!.
