Question: For those of you that have had hard contacts; how long did it take you to get used to them!?
I have an eye condition, Pellucid marginal degeneration, that requires hard contacts for treatment!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have hard contact lenses which I got about a month ago and I only wear them at night because I'm undergoing a process called orthokeratology!. So far I've already found that I'm becoming more used to them!. I used to wear soft contact lenses and I can tell you that hard ones are heaps harder to wear initially, but over time I can already tell that I will get used to them!.
Being able to see everyday is a good enough reason for me to put up with the minor irritation for now =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had hard contacts when I was in college, about 30 years ago!. you build up to wearing them gradually, about a half hour at a time at first!. I think it took 2 or 3 weeks til I could wear them full time!. even then, it was just a few hours during the day!. I hope they help your condition!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
