Can someone give advice on visual disturbances?!

Question: Can someone give advice on visual disturbances!?
I have had a very odd visual problem for I would say about 10 years now!. No, I haven't been to an eye doctor, although I know I probably should!. But until then, can anyone tell me what would cause me to see what appears to be a million little squiggly white things in my vision when I look at anything very bright outside!? It looks alot like if you look at something under a microscope!.!.!.!.almost like I am looking at some really tiny bacteria or something and it completely covers my entire eyesight!. Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I started suddenly seeing the exact same thing you are describing when I was about 12 years old!. It scared me for years, and I thought It was something serious, like I was going blind, because everyone I asked about it said they never seen them, and never seen anything like them!. After alot of research on the internet I found out that it's normal it's called the Blue field entoptic phenomenon, or the Scheerer's phenomenon

read about it in the links below

one of them is on a website about eye floaters, but it tells at the bottom of the article that it's not floaters, and shouldn't be confused with themWww@Answer-Health@Com

You have floaters :)
It is very common - nearly everyone have some amount of it!. You shouldn't be worried unless you experience a drastic increase in their number which could indicate a very serious problem (retinal detachment)!. For more info see http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/FloatersWww@Answer-Health@Com

they are tiny particles in your vitreous and you can see their shadows in bright light!.they may be congenital!.and are not of any importance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i think that happens to alot of people!. i've worn glasses for years, and i still do that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

the advice is to see your eye doctor for good refraction and further examination of your eye interiorsWww@Answer-Health@Com
