Question: How do I get rid of my red eye!?
Yesterday, around 5 PM, I went biking and I got a bug in my eye and it was irritating but it eventually went away!. Later that evening, I looked in the mirror and saw my eye that got the bug in it was really red and removed my contact lenses and put in Visine drops (to remove redness)!. Well it's the next morning, and my eye is still a little red!. How long will it take for it to go away!? Why is my eye still a little red!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, do not use visine! Visine constricts the blood vessels in your eyes and is very bad for them!. Schedule an appointment with an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist!. Remove your contacts and when you do put them back in, make sure you throw the old ones out and use new ones!. Your best bet is to wear your glasses for a few days, if your eye doesn't heal in the next day or two, see a doctor! Hope this helps and good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would definitely NOT put any contact lenses in that eye!. Try a cold compress over the eye for 10-20minutes!. Do not put heat on it!. When rubbing your eye with the bug and lens in it, you may have scratched it!. Try to keep your eye clean, your hands clean if itching your eye, and if it bothers you for more than a couple of days , I would see an opthamologist!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
