Eye correction - should I get surgery?!

Question: Eye correction - should I get surgery!?
I have been short-sighted since I was told about it back when I was 17 years old!. I have glasses and do wear them (usually at night only or when I'm at home and not going out) other days I would wear clear contact lenses!. But I'm getting tired of having to update my prescription once a year, because my eye sight problem gets worse every year, not fast but to a point I have to change lenses once a year, which is probably normal for us short sighted people, I'm just wondering should I stay like it is, or should I get laser treatment for my eyes to correct my sight!? Or should I get those hard lenses treatment that you sleep with the hard lenses at night and take them off during the day because it corrects your eye sight while you're asleep, or whatever it's called!.

And also, pro's and con's of getting these type of treatments for my eye sight!.

A requirement for Lasik or similar eye correction surgery is that you have stable eyes!. Needing a prescription change every year indicates that your eyes continue to change!. You would not be an ideal candidate!.

Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) is a process of using tight fitting rigid gas permeable (RGP) contact lenses at night to reshape your corneas (clear front of the eye)!. When you remove the contacts in the morning the reshaping stays!. Ortho-K is limited in its ability to correct high nearsighted/shortsighted vision and the changes gradually wear off, sometimes relatively quickly!.

Our friend from Jordan is misinformed about the safety of Lasik!. Lasik is medically safe and effective and the vast majority of Lasik patients are satisfied, however no surgery is 100% safe as there is always risk of an undesired outcome!. To get an idea of the results of vision correction surgery, see the preliminary results of the USAEyes CORE patient survery at:

asking a physician will be better, but here's what i`ve got from my Personal experience!.

those LASEC operations are 100% safe, there has never been a failed one!. you walk after 1 hour of the procedure, after 2 days you`ll have perfect sight!. and it`s relatively cheap!. in jordan my country it coast around 1000$ in the best eye-care centers!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Go for it!. My wife had it done and she sees better then I do, and i don't need glasses!. She tells everybody who needs it, to get it done!. She thinks it's great!.
She wore glasses her whole life and they were thick!. She had it done about 10 years ago!. Her eye site is still great!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Khubaib: What do you mean "100% safe" and "There's never been a failed one"!? That's absolutely incorrect!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
