Do I have to clean sterile contacts?!
Question: Do I have to clean sterile contacts!?
I know this sounds like a really stupid question, but I only have one pair of eyes and don't wanna take any chances!.
Anyways, I recently got my new pair of contacts from my eye doctor and they are still in the case!. The case says "sterile", so should I still clean them or can I just put them in my eye!. The fluid that I have to use to clean them is'nt cheap, so I don't want to use it if I dont have to!.

Make sure that your hands are cleaned with antibacterial soap and hot water!. Then the STERILE contacts are ready for use!. Put them in!. When it is time to take them out, clean your hands (always before contact with your eyes), carefully take them out, clean them as directed by the sterile lens cleaner and your good to go!. CLEAN HANDS AND UNDER FINGERNAILS is always very important also clean your contacts everytime(before and after use) and never sleep with your contacts in!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
