Is the 20-20-20 rule for people who use computers for long periods, TRUE?!

Question: Is the 20-20-20 rule for people who use computers for long periods, TRUE!?
I read somewhere that if you use a computer for the majority of your day, you have to look away from the computer every 20 minutes, look at something 20 feet away, and stare at it for 20 seconds!. This is to help with longterm sight problems!.

Answers:
10 minutes every hour really isn't enough to help much!.

The 20/20/20 rule is an effective one, that is stated at several eye care sites to do with computers!.

I think it's even easier on the eyes just to get into the habit of looking at the far end of the room or out a window every few minutes, for at least 10 seconds!.!.!.!.and keeping the monitor at least 28 inches away from you!.
