Question: What to expect at a eye exam!?
i am getting contacts soon (less than a week) and i want to know what i should expect to happen!. What exactly happens during a contact lens fitting!? Do they check the size of your eye and curve and sutff!? How!.!.!.with what tools!? also, what's going to happen after the exam is over!.!.!.do i get to try contacts on right after or do i have to revisit so also, how long does it take before i get used to the contacts!? Will i eventually be able to put contacts in really quickly!? when!? also, how does it feel when you first put contacts on and do you know any tricks for putting them in with ease!? best answer gets 10points

They measure your eye and the curve!. They will put a set of adjustable lenses up to your face and as they switch different lenses, they will repeatedly ask if the first lens looks better or the second!. This is as you look at an eye chart!. They may also look into your eye with a magnifier and light!. And there is another machine where you just stare at a light or a picture without blinking!. Nothing to worry about!. They usually will give you the contacts and teach you how to clean them, how to put them in, and how to take them out!. The first time I tried putting my contacts in on my own it took a half an hour, but it does get easier within a couple weeks!. Before long I could put them in and take them out without a mirror!. For me, I got used to contacts very quickly and when they are clean, it doesn't feel like you have anything in your eye!. Make sure you take them out daily and keep them clean!. Also, I personally do not like colored lenses because I found that for me, the colored part of the lens would actually partially cover my pupil and cause my vision to blur!. They're a cool idea, but really annoying!. I'm sure your natural eye color is beautiful anyway!. If you'd like, your doctor may be able to give you samples of colored lenses to take home and try!. it hurts sorta bc your eyelid extends to the size of it!. dont rub your eyes!. they shouldnt use any tools they'll show you7 how to put them in and stuff just follow their instructins and yo0u should be fine!.!.!.!. i have blue ones they work best and i natually have brown eyes so yea good luck and dont be nervouse its a piece of cake! i have contacts and my mom works at an eye dr!. place!. they just teach you have to put the contact in!. they dont measure you and stuff!. the contacts are flexable and will fit to any eye unless you have a special eye condition you wont have to revisit unless you dont like them or just to see how well you do!. i've had contacts for like 6 years and it takes me like a min to put them in!. it dont take long to learn!. also you may not like them!. some ppl dont most do!. brand usualy doesnt matter!. but to some it does!. color contacts are cool!. but some are a light color all over your eye some have color around the part where you see!. i dont like them bc they can sometimes look fake!. but if its just to make them brighter like going with a color close to what you have they are cool!. contacts are amazing but i wouldnt recomend the all the time ones!. like not taking them out!. its bad for your eyes!.
