Question: Dry eye driving me insane!!!!?
My right eye is always dry!. I put in eyedrops, but that literally does nothing!. It gets really bad in the morning, and when I watch tv/go on the computer for a while!. It been like that for years, and there is a red spot on my eye that gets noticeable when its really painful!. I went to the optomestrist once and she said i had a dry spot on my eye!. why wont the eye drops work, then!? its sooooo painful and irritatingWww@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, first, what drops are you using!? Visine and clear eyes are absolute no-nos!. If you must use store bought, use something like PRESERVATIVE FREE bion tears, refresh single use vials, ect!. NOT the kind that come in multi-use bottles!.
That said, the best drop in my opinion has always been dwelle, which can be purchased at http://dryeyeshop!.com/ - you may not notice immediate relief (and may experence some stinging/discomfort) when first using it, but if you really stick to using it for a while, it can help a LOT with reducing your need to use eye drops and generally controlling your symptoms!.
There are countless other options based on the TYPE of dry eye you have- punctal plugs, moisture chambers, flax supplements, cyclosporin, warm compresses, the list goes on and on- simply using eye drops is not the start and finish of managing dry eye!. Figuring out WHAT to use depends on getting the right diagnosis- which obviously, you didn't!.

I would go to an eye doctor and get that checked out!. Dry eye is very painful and annoying!. You might need prescription drops!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

also, the optomestrist u went to see didn't help much, did she!.!. see ur doctor, or another optomestrist!
