Help with my contacts?!
Question: Help with my contacts!?
I didnt have an solution last night!. So I boiled water for 10 minutes and put my contacts in there for 9 hours!.
In the morning, they were all dried up!.
I know that tap water has bacteria in it, so right now my contacts are soaking in the solution!. I was having them go in there for 4 hours!.
Question: Will my eye still have a chance or getting infected!? I have new contacts, should I just crack them open and throw these ones out!?
thank youWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You should crack open a new pair as you don't want to risk your eyesight!.
To eliminate bacteria in water takes 20 minutes boiling time!.
Sterile saline solution is the only thing you should use to soak your lenses in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I wouldn't risk it!. There are some serious bugs in tap water that can do terrible things to your eyes (blindness is one)!. Also after your lenses have been dehydrated they are likely damaged and will hold more bacteria!. Comfort is likely to be less as well!. Crack open a new pair, your eye health is worth it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
Use the new ones, any bacteria/ food/ air particles that could get into the pot could also end up in your eyes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should just use new ones!. For most contacts, your only supposed to use them daily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Better to dispose of them rather than take a chance!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
