Question: Question!. Is it bad for your eyes to read in the dark!?
My parents keep telling me that it's bad for my eyes, if I read in the dark!. Is this true!? And if it is, then what's the minimal amount of light to read in!? Thank you for your answers!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Reading in the dark causes a lot of extra work for the eyes, and can cause eyestrain and headaches in the future!. You should read under normal lighting conditions with minimal glare to avoid this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mom used to always turn on a light while I was doing my homework in high school!. But yes, it is bad for your eyes!. It's putting a strain on them!. I don't know much about eyes so I can't really tell you any technical reasons why!. I do wear glasses now though!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, when you read in the dark or in dim lighting you pupils expand and contract which makes it harder and bad for your eyes to see in light!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I remember seeing somewhere that reading in the dark can cause strain on your eyes, but they will not actually damage them!. I would say just read in whatever light is comfortable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
