Problems with new glasses.?!

Question: Problems with new glasses!.!?
I was told that my prescription was nearly identical to my last and mainly the only difference was that I have a minor astigmatism now, they're new frames, but they're the same as my last pair!. They make me feel really dizzy, but worse they make me feel like I'm in a hole-- literally!. It distorts things to make everything around me seem slanted upward!. I never had either of those problems with my first pair, and if this is supposedly relatively similar to the last, I don't see why it would do this!. Is this normal and will it get better after a while!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If the glasses are of any significant strength this can happen even if the two Rx's are identical, from one pair sitting differently on the face to the other!.

Angling, bowing and vertex distance are the three main factors!.
If this doesn't settle within a week, two at the outside, it can often be fixed with a simple adjustment to the frames (but it has to be the right adjustment: this is not a "you can do this at home" thing!.)

For example: with the new glasses on and you looking in the distance, keeping the glasses on the nose, raise the sides higher than your ears (so the top of the front of the glasses leans out, and the bottom leans in)!.
If the vision rapidly gets worse as the front rotates, you have too much pantoscopic angle on the frames, if it improves, too little!.

Glasses for astigmatism do distort, and all glasses distort!.
The doctor needs to know about this!.
