Answers:
You can end up with all sorts of eye infections, which would mean you can't wear contacts at all for at least a week!. These eye infections are sometimes chronic, and your doctor might make you stop wearing contacts altogether!.

Contacts start to break down after a few weeks, and they don't allow your corneas to get any oxygen!. The blood vessels in your eyes actually start to grow into your iris, and can eventually grow over your pupil and cause you to go blind!. You can also make your prescription worse, or give yourself astigmatism!. Your eyes will look red all the time!. Your vision won't be as clear!. Your eyes will feel dry and irritated!.

The blood vessels thing was part of the lecture I was given by the first optometrist I worked for!. She told me she had seen people go blind from not listening to her about it!. If you can't afford to buy enough contacts to change them when you need to, just wear your glasses!. It's not worth it!.

Could get an infection!. Usually - they get pretty dirty in four months - so they are probably kind of cloudy and hard to see out of!.

I wear mine for LOOOOONG periods of time!. Not four months - but - I'm sure I've gone two months with lenses that should only be worn for 2 or 3 weeks!. I sleep in them - and they stay in constantly for long periods of time!.

I've been doing this for years and years!. Now I have lenses that apparently allow my eyes to "breath" more - so the lenses are better - and my eye doctor is happy - because he is aware of my habit!. He has never lectured me!. Simply says its best to change them more often in order to avoid an infection!. But - I've never had an infection!.

So - I think the contact lens companies just want you throwing the lenses away more often!. Mine last a lot longer than they recommend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

they could be
a!. not helping whatsoever

b!. cutting into your eyelids and will eventually need surgery

c!. Reflecting on your eyes which can be straining the muscle
