I think it has more to do woith astigmatism than the power!. If you wear a sperical, regular lense, (you will know if you wear a toric), than you should have no preblem getting color contacts!.
-9 would be very strong!. Even a -5 or a -6 is strong!. I would guess about a -7 or 8 because anything higher would not be common enough to be mass marketed!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your wanting disposable colored contacts, I believe the spherical range is +4!.00 to -8!.00 in most brands!. Or it may be to -6!.00!. Sorry can't remember off hand, and I'm not at work at the moment!. If your power doesn't fall within those ranges, then you can be fitted for daily/extended wear colored contacts such as Durasoft 2 and Durasoft 3 Colors!. These lenses are a little more pricier, not as common as disposables, and not as healthy as disposable lenses!. Most patients can be fitted for colored lenses nowadays, even for astigmatism correction!. Ask your eye doctor!. Just keep in mind that you will see a lot sharper through clear lenses vs!. colored ones!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
