It is on the box, and if your lenses are individually packaged - on them also!. There may be more numbers though!.
The spherical number is your "power" correction!. That would be the 2!.00 number you saw!.
If you have an astigmatism, there is a cylinder number!.
Then there is axis number that says where on the lense the first two components should be located!.
Your script should look something like: 2!.00 +0!.25 x 180
You having a 2!.00 means you are moderately farsighted!. 2!.00 is not that bad!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no way to know if you are nearsighted or farsighted based on the information you provided!. The 2!.00 is likely the spherical portion of the prescription but without knowing if it is a plus (+) or minus (-) prescription, there is no way to know if it is for nearsightedness or farsightedness!. The other measurements you will likely see on the box are for the base curve, diameter, and possibly a cylinder and axis if you have correction for astigmatism!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
