High index eyeglass lenses...1.74 versus 1.70?!

Question: High index eyeglass lenses!.!.!.1!.74 versus 1!.70!?
is it worth the extra money to get the 1!.74 over the 1!.70!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Below the 1!.74 which is not recommended under - 8!.00, is the 1!.67!.!.not 1!.70

Even the 1!.67 isn't recommended under - 6!.00

With your prescription the highest you should go is the 1!.6, with a quality anti reflection coating!.

A high index lens, higher than recommended is very liable to cause distortion!.

Of the 3 lenses, the 1!.6 has the best optical clarity, and with the good choice of frames, there will be no difference in the thickness with a higher index!.

All 3 are a 1 mm center thickness , so in a small frame, they will all look the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not really---
Proper frame fit and choice will do better to help your final overall happiness!.

Get the best possible anti-reflection coating and go as small as possible on the frame choice!.

I hope you love your glasses!Www@Answer-Health@Com
