Question: Why do I see so many old people with those cataract surgery glasses on!?
I swear there cannot be THAT many people with recent eye surgery!. Do some people just have it and then keep them because they like them!?!?!!?
I mean I swear it looks like at least 10% of elderly people have those big crazy sunglasses!. What's up!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

They are more commonly used for AMD (age-related macular degeneration) than cataracts!. The older people get the higher the risk of sight problems and people are living longer now so you will see more people with sight problems!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Probably, cataract surgery is very common!. Many of them dont just wear them during the postoperative recovery, but continue wearing them for a long time after!.
Although, they may not be considered cool, they are very functional!. THey provide good shade and are almost fully enclosed blocking sun from all directions!. They also have a large window in front and side to offer a good view!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually, there are a lot of dilated eye exams going on which require those sunglasses!.
Many elderly like the cheap sunglasses and hang on to them because they work over their glasses!.
There is a reason the elderly wear glasses!.
