thats all astigmatism!. left eye more than right!. dont listen to anyone who posts that you're "farsighted" b/c you're not!. thats "mixed astigmatism"!.!.!.neither farsighted nor nearsighted!.
right eye is not so bad!. so if you're right handed & right eye dominant, i could see how you might not notice!.

not sure on how strong it is but yes to me it makes sense that you didn't realize that you were not seeing clearly until you saw what seeing clearly is suppose to look like
