Bright light whilst using computer?!
Question: Bright light whilst using computer!?
Sometimes after being on PC for a while I get a brightness in my eyes that is similar to when you accidentally look at the sun or look at a lightbulb!. This is even after turning the brightness right down!. After leaving the PC my sight is normal within 5 mins!.I have had an eye test in lst year and don't suffer from migraine!. Should I get this checked out or is spending time on the computer to blame!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Ideally yes you should get it checked out but there are steps you can take!.
1) Is the room well lit or are you sat in the dark!? Ideally you want the room to be lit with natural sunlight but not shaded so you don't get glare on your screen
2) Is it a CRT screen or one of the more modern flat panel TFT monitors!? If it is a CRT (the old type with the big back) get it replaced with a flat screen; they give off far less heat, glare and radiation!. If this isn't possible you should get a screen guard that reduces the glare!.
3) You should remember to blink lots and look away from the screen every so often; focus on something else in the room to exercise your eyes!. And every 40 minutes or so try and have a break from your desk!.
If this is work PC your employer is legally obliged to provide you with an ergonomic working environment!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe computer glasses could reduce the screen glare and stop this!.
Try wearing light sunglasses and see if it changes anything!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
