Has any one's child ever got the wrong prescription glasses? ?!

Question: Has any one's child ever got the wrong prescription glasses!? !?
my 6 year old son wears thick prescription lens which he has to wear all the time !.!.!.his first glasses was a disney power ranger metal frame but the lens kept falling off until it got lost, waited 3 weeks for the new lens and got him a new plastic frame!.!.!.we chose the plastic frame cause the guy who worked at the vision center suggested it!.!.!. it was perfect the lens fit well but when my son tried it on he said every thing looks so tiny even his baby brother's head looked tiny!.!.!.he could barely see any thing!. his first glasses he saw everything "bigger" as he describes it now every thing is tiny!. I'm worried that they gave him the wrong prescription and that it might make his vision worse and now I have to "force" him to wear them and plus that glasses cost a fortune!.

has any one's child ever got the wrong prescription glasses!?
If they gave the wrong prescription glasses, would they fix it for free or do I have to spend another 200$ for the lens and 200$ for another frame and wait another 3 weeks!?!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Our daughter's eyeglasses place will also replace the lenses for free within the first month if there is a problem with the prescription, but they require a new prescription from the eye doctor!. If there is a change within 8 months, they charge half price!. I believe the replacement within a month is pretty standard!.

If the eye glasses place made the wrong prescription (so not that the prescription from the eye doctor was wrong, but that the lenses were made incorrectly), then they should replace it for no cost, no questions asked, it was their fault!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It happens, sometimes people get the wrong lens!.

If you have concerns, get a copy of the rx and bring the glasses to
another vision center and have them check to be sure they are correct!.

If the examining doctor is separate from the optician, bring the glasses
back to the doctor to verify you are wearing the prescription as prescribed!.

Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

That can happen and they should fix it for free!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well when i was his age the optician told me to stop wearing glasses that i didn't need them anymore!.!.!.!.now i'm wearing glasses for the rest of my life so that just proves that they can be wrong!. If he has had enough time to adjust and he still hasn't then go back to see the same optician as there is probably something wrong!. They should replace the lenses for free but not the frames!. If they insist that that is the right prescription and he still can't see properly then get a second opinion!. Also, if he feels awkward wearing such thick lenses you can get them thinned for about 45 euro (whats that in dollars!?) and it doesn't change the prescription!. Hope that helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
