some eye doctor's offices are attached to the opticians!. You could go to a pearl vision or a lens crafters and be finished with the entire process in a couple of hours, one of which is you shopping while they are grinding your lenses!.

I guess it depends on where you go and what kind of lab facility they have!. I wouldn't count on getting them the same day!. Where I go, after the exam by the doc, you pick out the frames and a tech kinda measures your face and eyes!. Then they send the prescription and frame selection off to a lab and in a week, sometimes less, they'll call you in to get your new glasses fitted and off you go!. Eyeglasses are pretty expensive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
most of the time not!. they need to measure your eyes and see what needs to be improved for each on and then they need you to pick out the galsses part so they can put in the lenses so chances are they will not have your favorite glasses and the exact lens you need in storage at the placeWww@Answer-Health@Com
